Id Inc Japanese firm probably shares with myself a love with mint interiors. In fact, they designed a whole interior design in mint for Japanese clinic SUMIYOSHIDO, which is a medical center specialised on herbal medicine and acupunture.
The interior design style, as for all Japanese interiors, is linear and minimal.
The concept design idea is to create an uniform interior space, where all furniture elements and medicine shelves are combined together in an unique design. Colour is the common denominator of the design, which is leveled out by a fresh and pastel shade of mint green, expressing the world of herbal medicine.
It’s very interesting the combination between a “total mint” space interior and a total white one.
In fact, while the herbal medicines selling area is defined by mint green, the close clinic room for acupuncture and moxibustion is in a pure white, to express a quiet and calm feeling.
You can notice the match between these two colours from the exterior as well, and it really gives a sensation of freshness and cleanliness, qualities that are essentials for a medical clinic.
Cool idea and design, isn’t it?
