The idea for this post came from the Scandinavian home I showed you yesterday here, with that beautiful poster decor in black and white, and from this image from my Pinterest.
This is nothing new: if you browse the net and read design magazine…however I assumed that Andy Warhol quote postershaven’t bored people yet as this image on my Pinterest keep being repinned thousands of times, it actually has reached a number over 20k repins and grows day by day!
And for sure what makes this picture special is that “All is pretty” Warhol quote poster over that vintage wooden trunk. Love it ♥
The thing is that a typographic poster like this is a smart choice for a wall decor, something that fits in every room (again, here some different inspirations, from bedrooms, living rooms, workspace and even kids rooms). With a good balance between white and black, and a size as big as to be enough to decor a corner by itself.
Also, size is 70×100 and it perfectly fits into simple Ikea Nyttja frames – the cheaper ones from Ikea, I think?

L’idea del veloce post di oggi arriva un po’ dalla casa scandinava di ieri, resa ancor più bella grazie ai quadri tipografici in bianco e nero alle pareti, sia dall’immagine che vedete in apertura.
Sì perché dovete sapere che questa immagine di un ingresso è la foto più repinnata in assoluto dal mio Pinterest, tanto da superare di un bel po’ i 20mila repin…si sa che questo tipo di stampe vanno di moda, ma la cosa che mi ha fatto riflettere è che questa semplice immagine continua ad essere ricondivisa praticamente ogni giorno.
Il che mi fa pensare che questo microtrend, se così si può definire, dei poster tipografici -nella fattispecie questo tipo con frasi di Andy Warhol – non abbia ancora stancato. Di sicuro è proprio il poster “All is pretty” che rende unica l’immagine, assieme a quel baule in legno vintage.
Il fatto è che un poster così è la classica scelta furba che “sta con tutto”, lo puoi mettere in soggiorno, in camera, in studio, persino nella stanza dei bambini (come nell’immagine qui sopra…anche se io sarei più per qualcosa di meno “adulto” in questo caso, povero bambino). Ha un perfetto bilanciamento tra bianco e nero, e dimensione tale da bastare da solo ad arredare un angolo di casa.
Oltretutto, 70×100 è proprio la dimensione delle cornici Ikea Nyttja, se non sbaglio tra le più economiche di ikea.
