Last time, after talking about good resolutions and Etsy Resolutions program here, I promised you a selection of top interior and decor shops in Etsy. Here we are, the list is ready and hope you are ready now to pin and save this guide among the fav!
Etsy is such a popular platform, with so many items, that it’s not easy to make a selection. But with a bit of time and research you can really find some hidden gems, and beautiful Interior and Home Decer Shops.
Also, I think that these 14 stores are a great sample to show how an Etsy shop can become a successful one, a sample for those who are going to open their own shop. So, before giving my super list with the best home decor shops, I will give some advice on how to start a successful store in Etsy for interiors and decor.
.
How to start a successful store in Etsy?
As said before, there are really lots of products and shops on Etsy. So actually the real question is: once opened your Etsy shop, how to differentiate from the others?
As an Internet user with some experience I can tell you what strikes me when I look for something on Etsy. That’s to say, what are the factors that make me add in my favourites a shop among thousands, the same list that I use for my purchases and even as a source for this blog.
Actually there are 5 key points:
1 | a store with products on beautiful pics
you can sell the most beautiful objects in the world, but if their photos are bad, they will look bad. sad but true
2 | a description of the seller
even better if there is a small storytelling which tells me the story of the products and how they are made. handmade is the real plus on etsy so please tell more about this!
3 | graphic consistency between images
this makes each single image look better. This means, shoot different objects with a similar point of view, under the same light, in small sets with the same style: gallery will look much better if the pics are related one to the other
4 | specialization in a certain field
also a very small one, but that makes your store the best store of many others in that small field. To give the very best in just one thing is much better than giving a medium approach in a lot. This is something that basically works for every work, right?
5 | active social profiles
they are good for us to learn more about products and seller. Because behind a shop on Etsy there is always a person!
.
Then, how to sell on Etsy?
I know: what I listed before is not easy for the beginners. However, everything becomes easier with someone who will explain you everything , who will take you step by step in the opening of your new e-shop.
The Etsy Resolutions program is made for this.
In a month, special emails and a dedicated facebook group you will help you in the opening of your Etsy shop. The program is free and you can sign up here
But now … let’s go with my best Etsy shops for home decor! Ready to Pin?

5 | profili social attivi
servono per conoscere meglio prodotti e venditore. Perché dietro a uno shop in Etsy c’è sempre una persona!
.
Come imparare quindi a vendere in Etsy?
