In these days I’ve been really busy for an online interior design advice I’m showing you soon (I promise!).
While I was working on a materials and colour palette research I found this interesting kitchen restyling on Australian magazine Inside Out by Mette Helena Rassmussen. I love it because it shows in a fast and smart way how just a few elements can completely change the feeling of a space.
The three elements are the shelving, the kitchen wall and the lights.
Especially, here the black wall makes the difference: the stylist puts it in evidence leaving it bare without any frame decor, lamps also are different to contrast better on the strong black background. On the opposite side, the timber boxes on option one have been painted in option two in white to create a strong white/black contrast.
Finally, have also a look on the two different ways the stylist choose for the sitting corner: option one, with a total white effect and a gallery wall, option two with a more eclectic twist adding more cushions and different patterns.

In questi giorni sono stata iper impegnata in un progetto di consulenza di interni online (prometto a breve vi mostro qualcosa!) e proprio mentre cercavo ispirazioni per colori e materiali ho trovato questo interessante restyling su Inside Out magazine.
In modo molto efficace la stylist Mette Helena Rassmussen ci fa vedere come bastino davvero pochi elementi per cambiare il look di una stanza. In questo caso gli elementi sono solo tre: la libreria, la parete della cucina e le lampade, più altri elementi secondari che completano l’arredo.
Ma la vera protagonista è lei, la parete nera: la stylist la mette in evidenza lasciandola spoglia, senza quadri appesi, e sceglie anche delle lampade diverse (in carta bianca) che contrastino meglio rispetto alle lampade della prima opzione. Sul lato opposto, la scaffalatura in legno grezzo viene dipinta in bianco ad aumentare il contrasto con la parete della cucina.
