Be inspired by this cat cafè design in Rome, Italy
For sure, in the division between those who love dogs and those who prefer cats I side definitely in the first group. However, this is not a good reason for not showing you this really original interior for the Thursdays Original Interiors space.
First, I have to say that we’ve already met the designer of this original cafè in Rome, Tommaso Guerra, in another beautiful coffee bar in Scandinavian style here. The place I’m showing you today instead is called Romeow Cat Bistrot and as for its name it’s a cafè bar for cats as well…

They are called “cat cafè“, and they are a trend which is becoming popular in europe and in Italy as well, starting from Taipei and spreading in Japan first. Places where you can enjoy your meal or just a coffee along with some nice meow cats.
I’m definetely not a cat person. And not a vegan as well (however, till someone will be really able to explain me how you can eplace all those wonderful kind of foods with vegan ones), but the interior design of this cat cafè in Rome made the Pink Dog bark for its style. A cozy place, more similar to a living of a private home than a public place.
I think that the colours of this place are perfect, and love the variety of home accessories that the designer have used here. For example, that book-shaped shelves….maybe better without the cat on top? 😉
