Sharing something today from an online interior design project I recently did. It’s a moodboard for the restyling of a living room, which the client (US) required to be in a glamorous yet modern style.
I must say I’m not a big fan of glam and shiny design, so my e-design living room proposal is more about a mid-century modern mood with just some gold and brass details, to give a glam twist. The interior palette works on neutrals, beige and grey, that will match with an existant flooring in black wood. Furniture pieces to be neutrals as well, in white and light grey.
The decor idea also plays with geometry, on the accent walls on one side with a statement brass decor, on the other with a new plasterboard wall covered with a wallpaper of geometric pattern design. To complete the room, a reading corner with light furniture that can be moved anywhere the client wants.

Oggi condivido con voi in velocità un progetto di interni online che ho fatto di recente. Questa è la moodboard iniziale, si tratta del restyling di un living (Stati Uniti), per un cliente che aveva richiesto uno stile “glam” e contemporaneo.
Come avrete capito non sono una grande fan del decor luccicante e sfarzoso…Ho preferito quindi proporre uno stile contemporaneo con mood anni Cinquanta reso glam da pochi dettagli ma ben studiati in oro e ottone. La palette è neutra, nei toni del beige e del grigio, e va a completare un pavimento esistente in legno nero, quindi già visivamente “importante”. Anche gli arredi proposti sono neutri, in bianco e grigio.
L’idea è poi quella di giocare con pattern geometrici sulle pareti focali della stanza, da un lato con una grande decorazione a parete in ottone, dal lato opposto con una carta da parati a motivi geometrici in toni neutri. A completamento della stanza, un piccolo angolo lettura con elementi di arredo leggeri, che in realtà il cliente potrà posizionare dove meglio crede.
