Among the hundred projects that I am following during this period (or that are starting, see one month left to ) we are also moving forward with the restyling of my small home office. Actually, we painted everything so now it’s all about adding furniture and accessories. I opted for half painted walls with two shades of beige, the darker on bottom. This type of decoration is perfect for those who do not want to dare too much. At the same time, it is perfect if you are looking for a visual effect which is stronger than the usual monochrome one.
In addition to beige, actually I also added a more lively third color, i.e. a pink very similar to the logo one. I’ll show you better about this once it’s finished!
To get the half painted walls decor:
We first proceeded by painting everything with the lightest color. Then, we applied the paper scoth on the dividing line and then painted two times with the darker one. At the end I retouched some points where the line was a bit ‘ruined by removing the tape, but everything was really easy.

Tra i cento progetti che sto seguendo in questo periodo ( o che stanno iniziando, vedi ) stiamo anche andando avanti con il restyling del mio piccolo studio. In pratica adesso abbiamo dipinto tutto e manca quindi tutta la parte dell’arredo. Ho optato per due tonalità di beige con una tinteggiatura a fascia, con la parte inferiore più scura. Questo tipo di decorazione è perfetta per chi non vuole osare troppo, ma allo stesso tempo cerca un effetto visivo meno piatto rispetto a quello di una classica parete monocolore. Oltre al beige, in realtà ho anche aggiunto poi un terzo colore decisamente più acceso (lo stesso rosa del logo!). Vi racconterò meglio una volta terminato il tutto.
Per fare una tinteggiatura bicolore a fascia:
Abbiamo proceduto prima dipingendo tutto con il colore più chiaro. Abbiamo poi applicato lo scotch di carta sulla linea divisoria e dato due mani della pittura più scura. Alla fine abbiamo ritoccato alcuni punti in cui la linea si era un po’ rovinata proprio togliendo il nastro adesivo.
