I was looking for a light home tour to be shared after Easter break.
I spent some days in the Alps, really needed to recharge batteries before the Milan Design Week rush: how did you spend your break?
However I found the perfect interior for today on Interior Break : perfect for you to sweeten your return at work, and for me to calm my anxieties of too-much-to-do-now.
For this time, we are not travelling to somewhere in scandinavia, but closer in Valencia, Spain, in a pastel home that smells of peace and of spring. Adelante!

Cercavo un home tour leggero e colorato da condividere dopo questi giorni di pausa.
Io me ne sono stata un po’ in montagna, avevo bisogno di una ricarica in vista della corsa pre Salone del Mobile: voi avete passato un bel weekend di Pasqua?
E comunque, Alessia di Interior Break mi ha dato l’ispirazione per la casa perfetta per una giornata come oggi, per voi ad addolcire un po’ il rientro al lavoro e per me a placare le ansie di quello che so essere l’inizio di un momento molto impegnativo.
Stavolta niente Scandinavia, ma si vola a Valencia in un appartamento spagnolo dalle tinte pastello che solo a guardarlo mette pace, e che sa di primavera. Adelante!

I know, here the architecture really plays a key role, with those amazing mosaic floorings changing from one room to the other. And that high ceiling. The pastel palette matched with muted hues looks perfect to highlight the historical space.
After a closer look and while reading on the Spanish blog, I assume this is a showroom more then an home with someone actually living inside. All the furniture and accessories you see are sold on Spanigh e-shop Kenay Home (by the way: how beautiful is this large wall print? and this minted display?). And let me say this, it’s everyting too much perfect to have someone living inside.
But I don’t mind, today let me dream living here!

Certo l’architettura qui fa buona parte del lavoro, con quei pavimenti a mosaico colorati che cambiano da una stanza all’altra e le decorazioni a stucco bianco (e il soffitto altissimo). E la palette di tinte pastello abbinate a tonalità neutre é perfetta per esaltare tutto lo spazio.
Guardando meglio (e leggendo tra le righe di uno spagnolo che capisco solo per assonanza con l’italiano) credo si tratti proprio della showroom di Kenay Home, store spagnolo e ora anche nella versione e-shop, dato che praticamente tutti gli articoli e complementi che vedete provengono da li (quanto bella è questa stampa? e la vetrinetta color menta?). E poi troppo perfetta, diciamolo.
Ma a me poco cambia, io per oggi sogno di vivere tra queste mura.
