HOME TOUR | Learning how to decorate with black

Love this home interior, I found it like a lesson to learn how to decorate with black. For those who want to dare with dark colours, but don’t want to overstate with the moody decor trend.

Have a look for example at the wall at the bottom of the living. Painted in black, that wall gives depth and character to the whole room, as well as becoming the perfect backgound for the white Tulip table by Knoll. The black painting also turn the corner and it covers the wall near the entrance, which has a practical bench for storing shoes and stuff, in black as well.

There are many other interesting details in black scattered here and there in the house. The kitchen counter and bar stools, for example. Or the bedrooms: one with a black wall, the other with a black floor.

I really like it. And for sure here the final styling done its part…remember, Scandinavians are masters on this!

L’home tour di oggi è una vera e propria lezione su come aggiungere il nero in casa. Pensata per chi non vuole esagerare, ma allo stesso tempo vuole ravvivare il look di casa con uno dei trend più attuali di quest’anno nell’home decor.

Guardate ad esempio la parete di fondo del living. Dipinta in nero, dona profondità e carattere alla stanza, oltre che essere lo sfondo perfetto per il tavolo bianco Tulip di Knoll. In realtà la tinteggiatura nera poi gira l’angolo e copre anche la parete vicino all’ingresso, che è stata allestita con una pratica panca-contenitore su misura, sempre in nero. Bell’idea!

Ci sono tanti altri interessanti dettagli in nero sparsi per la casa. Il ripiano della cucina e gli sgabelli, ad esempio. Oppure le camere: una con parete nera, una invece con pavimento nero.

Che ne dite? A me piace molto. E sicuramente anche lo styling finale ha fatto la sua parte…ricordate, gli Scandinavi sono maestri in questo!
