HOME TOUR | Green on walls and plants in a cozy Scandi home

My eyes lit up while seeing the images of this home in Goteborg.

It’s the usual Scandinavian interior we are all used to see, but with many interesting details that makes it really interesting and cozy.

First of all, walls are no longer just white walls: there are some parts painted in grey and smoke green, and they really add a more interesting background to the space. I love the shade of green that was chosen (remember I already featured this green in my post: green wall paint trend?)

Moreover, already said several times that total white walls at present are usually replaced by coloured ones. Here colours are soft and muted and I think the result is amazing.

Second, there are several decorating things, lots of stuff, plants, decor on the walls: look how plants here add an extra cozy touch to the home.

I love it: this can actually be the house of my dreams. Maybe just without that romantic canopy 😉

Mi si sono illuminati gli occhi quando ho visto le immagini di questa casa a Goteborg, Svezia (ti pareva).

Non è la solita casa in stile Scandinavo che sono abituata a vedere, qui c’è quel qualcosa in più che la rende davvero interessante ed accogliente.

Innanzitutto, le pareti non sono solo bianche: ci sono alcune porzioni dipinte in grigio e verde che aggiungono un interessante fondale a tutta la casa. Mi piace particolarmente la tonalità di verde che è stata scelta, si avvicina molto a uno dei verdi per dipingere le pareti di cui vi parlavo in questo post, ricordate?

D’altronde, l’abbiamo già visto diverse volte che le pareti in total white stanno scomparendo in favore di pareti colorate, a volte anche molto scure. Qui i colori sono soft e li trovo un bel compromesso per osare con le pareti colorate in casa senza esagerare.

Inoltre, lo styling di questa casa è a mio avviso perfetto : tanti oggetti, molte piante, libri…direi che soprattutto le piante in casa qui fanno davvero la maggior parte del lavoro sull’effetto finale, così accogliente, di questo spazio.

Voi che ne dite? Per me potrebbe essere la casa dei miei sogni. Ad eccezione di quel baldacchino, forse too much romantico per i miei gusti 😉
