Actually I spotted this project a few time ago, I pinned it among the ideas for a future post without ever having the chance to show it. I take the opportunity today, on a Tuesday when I’m really running on many different things, a few minutes off to have a peek inside this house in Gothenburg, Sweden, with you.
I know: we often go to Scandinavia with this blog’s home tours.
But this home with unfinished interior walls is something really unique in my opinion.
Would you ever think of leaving the walls unfinished in your home? Here for sure there was a wallpaper before, as often in many Scandinavian homes: instead of repainting, the choice stylins went for a really raw effect.
This raw mood is made even stronger thanks to the contrast with minimal Scandi design furnishings in black and white. I also love how they added some decorative elements, such as the carpet and the plants, which help to make the space more welcoming.
Just try to imagine this living room without pots and plants…?

In realtà questo progetto l’ho visto un po’ di tempo fa, pinnato tra le idee per i futuri post senza avere mai l’occasione per mostrarvelo. Ne approfitto oggi, in un martedì in cui vado davvero di corsa tra mille lavori, mi prendo qualche minuto di pausa per curiosare in questa casa a Goteborg, Svezia, con voi.
Lo so: in questo blog andiamo spesso in Scandinavia con gli home tour.
Ma ditemi se questo interno dalle pareti non finite non è qualcosa di unico.
A voi verrebbe mai in mente di lasciare le pareti in casa al grezzo? Qui sopra di sicuro c’era una carta da parati, come spesso nelle case Scandinave: anziché ridipingere, la scelta è stata quella di lasciare le pareti non finite.
Un effetto raw che è ancora più forte messo a contrasto con arredi minimali in bianco e nero di design scandinavo. Certo non si può rinunciare in uno spazio simile agli elementi decorativi, come il tappeto e le piante, che contribuiscono a rendere più accogliente lo spazio. Provate ad esempio ad immaginarlo senza quest’ultime…?
