A short post before we officially restart next week, I need to share something that makes me so happy these days (and made the Pink Dog bark so loud!) : ItalianBark blog was nominated, second year in a row, in the Best European Blogs section at prestigious Amara Interior Blog Award ♥
Together with so many talented fellow bloggers, and this is already enough to make me smile loud and think I’m going in the right direction. When you are creating something completely by yourself it can be really hard to persevere, to think positive, to find right support, to get gratifications and to look beyond disappointments. I still remember one of the first months I created this blog, when I told about ItalianBark to a colleague of mine and she replied me I was only a needle in a haystack and that it was a waste of time. Here I am, two years after, still a needle, but the time I’m wasting feels so right it can’t be a waste. However, it’s a good waste in something I love to do.

Oggi un brevissimo post prima della ripresa ufficiale la settimana prossima, devo assolutamente condividere qui con voi una cosa che mi rende troppo felice in questi giorni (e fa abbaiare il cagnetto a più non posso) : ItalianBark è stato nominato, per il secondo anno consecutivo, nella categoria Best European Blogs dal prestigioso Amara Interior Blog Award ♥
Assieme a tanti altri blogger di talento, e questo per me è già abbastanza per rendermi felice e per pensare, una volta ogni tanto con convinzione, che sto andando nella giusta direzione. Si perchè quando si crea qualcosa da zero, e completamente da soli, non è semplice essere perseveranti, non si trova grosso supporto se non in noi stessi, si hanno soddisfazioni ma assieme anche tante delusioni, e non è poi così facile come sembra. Ancora ricordo come fosse ieri un giorno di due anni fa quando, appena iniziato il blog, confidai a una collega l’idea di ItalianBark e lei mi rispose che ero solo un ago nel pagliaio e sarebbe stata una perdita di tempo. (grazie gentile 😉 ) Ebbene un ago lo sono ancora, ma il tempo non mi sembra poi così perso, o almeno posso dire che è una buona perdita di tempo quella consumata a fare qualcosa che si ama?
E ho scelto questa foto che mi è stata scattata pochi giorni fa a Porto allo stupendo Parque des Serralves (settimana prossima vi mostro un sacco di cose!!): per quanto piccoli bisogna sempre guardare in alto se sopra c’è qualcosa di bello, non credete?
