Using interior design wallpapers can be an original way to give an additional touch in our home, maybe for embellish those corners that we don’t know how to decorate, or those focal wall points in our rooms, as for example the headboard wall in the bedroom and the main wall in the living, behind the sofa.
Today there are so many types of wallcover that each one of us for sure will be able to find the right wallpapers, the one which best fits and values the style of our homes.
The more contemporary interior design wallpapers are those that imitate in a very realistic way the look of fabrics, wood and stone, but also of concrete and tiles, or also those that have special effects such as a metallic look, or three-dimensional textures.

These are some of the wallcover styles that I prefere for this season and that I’ve discovered while browsing my favourite websites and blogs…

Pattern wallcover

Pattern and geometrical prints, minimal design and simplicity distinguish the Scandinavian style of wallcover: this one for example is based on the repetition of a very easy
decorative theme in black and white,
and in its simplicity it’s a very stylish way for decorating

Loft & Industrial wallcover

If you love rough materials, bricks, stainless steel (as I do),
but also recycled furniture, I’m sure you will like the image below.
Many interior design wallpapers have a worn look which perfectly fits an industrial style interior
and which can fill up the space with an original touch

Imitational wallcover
One of the most seen trends of the moment is imitation wallpaper: wood, concrete, bricks, are reproduced
on wall decorations which are so similar to real materials to be confused with them…

Tartan wallcover
Tartan is a very trendy pattern for fashion in this winter season and, even if it can be much more difficult to use tartan for interior design, I’ve seen a lot of this squared design in interior wallcover and the result is really interesting. My favourite is this onefrom PlaneteDeco

City, text and vinyl wallpapers

Cityscapes and text are among my favourite kind of wall decorations. Vinyl wallpapers are a very easy way for decorating interiors with an infinite range of solutions, from black and whites to colours,
from just short mots to large cityscapes.
