Easy to say let’s leave everything exposed. Since the industrial style became a trend, leaving pipes and tubes exposed is no longer a design taboo. Rather than this, people are looking for this kind of solution.
That’s because this solution has lots of positive sides. In certain cases, exposed pipes are the only alternative, as for example in interiors of great historical value or with very low height. In addition, pipes and plumbing maintenance is much easier with exposed pipes and there is also an advantage in the thermal comfort, since the exposed pipes will disperse their heatdirectly into the room not inside a wall.
However, if you think it’s easy to get a wow effect just by leaving pipes exposed, nothing wronger.
Like all those things that seem simple at first sight, leaving pipes unexposed is a strong design choice and it’s easy to fall into a cheap result if things are not designed and thought carefully before.
In my opinion, there are three points to keep in mind for a chic and not cheap effect with exposed systems and pipes [ jump below]
Si fa presto a dire lasciamo tutto a vista.
Da quando lo stile industriale è diventato un trend, i tubi e gli impianti a vista non sono più un tabù. Anzi, una tentazione.
Ci sono casi in cui lasciare gli impianti a vista è una scelta quasi obbligata, penso ad esempio a interni di grande valore storico, oppure a quegli spazi in cui non c’è un’altezza sufficiente per ricavare un controsoffitto.
Inoltre, impianti a vista ben installati sono un vantaggio sia per quanto riguarda la manutenzione delle tubature sia per la convenienza termica, in quanto i tubi sottotraccia disperdono comunque calore al di sotto della parete mentre quelli a vista lo fanno direttamente nella stanza.
Se pensate però che sia semplice ottenere un effetto estetico wow lasciando tubi e impianti vari a vista, non c’è niente di più sbagliato.
Come tutte quelle cose che sembrano semplici, lasciare gli impianti a vista è risultato di una progettazione di interni ragionata ed è facile cadere in un risultato cheap e di cattivo gusto, se non pensata con criterio.
Secondo me ci sono tre punti fondamentali da tenere a mente per un effetto chic e non cheap con impianti e tubi a vista:
