Italian design is synonymous with elegance, linearity, sobriety. This private villa in Como I’m showing you today is a wonderful of less is more philosophy: the villa was designed by Studio Lissoni Associati in collaboration with Sag80, who was in charge with the interior design and the furnishing.
The villa surface is around 600 square meters and it was designed in order to keep a strong dialogue with the outdoor, thanks to its modern and essential architecture. The huge glazed windows makes the green outside part of the indoor design, creating beautiful glimpses and perspectives.
Design Icons
The interior is minimal and linear, with few elements designed to be in the best place: furniture was carefully selected among the icons of Italian and contemporary design.
We can find, for example, the Gino Sarfatti 2097 chandelier produced by Flos, the Eero Saarinen table produced by Knoll, the red UP chair by Gaetano Pesce produced by B&B Italia, the black leather daybed by Mies Van der Rohe’s produced by Knoll, Verner Panton chairs produced by Vitra.
Design icons will never go out of style.
Il design italiano è sinonimo di eleganza, linearità, sobrietà. Questa villa privata a Como, progettata dallo Studio Lissoni Associati in collaborazione con Sag80 – che si è occupato dell’interior design e della fornitura degli arredi- ne è un bellissimo esempio.
600 metri quadrati progettati per dialogare con la natura, con un’architettura moderna ed essenziale, nonché ampie vetrate che permettono all’esterno di diventare parte integrante dell’arredo e al verde di completare l’interno della casa.
Icone del Design
Gli interni sono minimali e lineari, ogni cosa è studiata per essere al posto giusto, nella posizione che la valorizzi al massimo: pochi pezzi d’arredo ma sapientemente selezionati, tra le icone del design Italiano e contemporaneo.
Troviamo ad esempio il lampadario 2097 di Gino Sarfatti prodotto da Flos, il tavolo di Eero Saarinen prodotto da Knoll, la poltrona rossa UP di Gaetano Pesce prodotta da B&B Italia, il Barcelona daybed in pelle nera di Mies Van der Rohe prodotto da Knoll, le sedie di Verner Panton prodotte da Vitra.

Kitchen, bathroom and pool design
For the kitchen and bathroom, the designer opted for tailor-made solutions and the clean lines by Boffi, the Italian design brand that was directed over the years by Luigi Massoni, Antonio Citterio and Piero Lissoni, and it’s officially reselled in Milan area by Sag80.
The interior severity is softened by the green outdoor, which comes from the large windows. The finishing materials finally enrich the space with sobriety thanks to their different texture and neutral colors: wood, stone, cement, marble.
Finally, the beautiful swimming pool, it’s overflowing and can be used both in summer and winter. Here as well no decoration, to emphasize the beautiful surrounding nature and the materials. Less is more.
Cucina, bagno e piscina
Per la cucina e il bagno, il progettista ha scelto soluzioni su misura e le linee lineari e pulite di Boffi, marchio di design italiano che negli anni ha visto avvicendarsi i tre direttori artistici Luigi Massoni, Antonio Citterio e Piero Lissoni, e di cui Sag80 è distributore ufficiale su Milano.
Gli interni, rigorosi e geometrici, vengono addolciti grazie al verde esterno che entra dalle ampie vetrate. I diversi materiali di finitura infine arricchiscono lo spazio con sobrietà grazie alle differenti texture e colori neutri: legno, pietra, cemento, marmo.
Non poteva infine mancare una bellissima piscina, a sfioro e utilizzabile sia d’estate che d’inverno. Anche qui, ogni elemento decorativo è assente, a sottolineare la forza della natura circostante e del rivestimento in marmo serpentino sabbiato. Less is more.
