This amazing holiday villa is located in Sorrento, in one of the most renowned coasts of Italy – the Amalfi coast .
Its interior is a perfect example of how to decorate in a contemporary Mediterranean decor.
Mediterranean interior style is very popular in Italian interiors, especially those ones located in the Southern regions and in coastal areas. As you can easily imagine, Mediterraneans interiors are about bright and white spaces, but not just this. Indeed, they are warmed up by tactile and natural materials such as wicker, terracotta, natural stone. White is also liven up by some pops of colours and by some pattern decor, maybe with tiled coatings.

This holiday villa in Amalfi I discovered on Boutique Homes dates back to the early 19th century and it was restored by Italian architect Maria Chiara Baldassarre, who designed the new interiors without losing their authentic flair.
The interiors, with their awesome Mediterranean twist, are decorated with white, warm materials and some pops of bright yellow, inspired by lemons. Remember to have a look at the kitchen, in my opinion a really inspiring example of rustic style kitchen. It is a tailor-made solution with a corner top and open cabinets, covered with simple linen fabrics.
