Let’s kick off this week with a summer home tour and let’s virtually travel to Puglia, south of Italy, where I am spending this week in a more relaxed mood.
We are visiting a very special kind of interior, because it’s inside a special building type called trullo. I already told you what is a trullo in this post, so let’s get some fresh inspiration today with this amazing vacation home inside a trullo. Featured on Boutique Homes, this special architecture was restored and redesigned by two artists who took their inspiration the dwelling’s unique and iconic construction.
The interiors embrace all the imperfections of the building with a rustic chic style curated in the smallest details. The trullo design is divided into four separate conical structures, a large central space with the living and dining area, while the middle cone includes the kitchen. The other two cones include a double bedroom and an alcove lounge space. The garden, surrounded by centennial olive groves, hammocks, and a swimming pool, is a very treat for our eyes.
Enjoy the home tour!
