The kitchen is the soul of any home. Even more when talking about Italian homes, where kitchen is the heart of the time spent at home. But how are Italian kitchens changing and evolving?
For this Monday I’m sharing an interesting research done by Houzz Italia about Italian kitchen designs and trends in our Country: the survey was sent to users of Houzz in Italy and carried out between October and December 2015 on a sample of 930 homeowners who have renovated the kitchen in the last 2 years, or intend doing so for the next three months.
The result? The modern Italian kitchen is more open to other rooms, it’s a space that first of all has to be organized and clean, a room/corner to be renovated with attention towards style and design, indeed there’s a real change in the Italian kitchen taste in favor of a modern and contemporary one (hooray!).
In the kitchen we spend on average three hours a day, quite a lot considering that most of us spend most of the time away from home!
Have a look at the interesting infographic at the bottom of the post for details on numbers and percentages.
But, first, some inspirations on modern Italian kitchen design: which one is your favourite between this ten kitchens?
