N/T News Trends from Milan Design Week 2018 to Last in 2019 is finally Online
I’m happy and quite thrilled too to share today with you the first ITALIANBARK eBook, which collects the best design news from Milan Design Week 2018 and the latest design trends spotted at the event, to last for 2019.

N/T is written for all design lovers and design/interiors/architecture professionals. Those who visited the MDW and are looking for a recap; those who could not attend the Milan Design Week and want to stay updated with it; those wo are not interested in the MDW, but are looking for an overview about the latest news and trends in interiors and design.
After the design week, I spent one whole week literally buried at home, scrolling thousands of pics, downloading hundreds of press kits, reading every single email I got. Actually the work started much more before the MDW, with all the previews and the planning for the week.
Everything, with the goal of putting together the eBook I always wanted to receive: and I did it ^_^
If you are wondering what’s N/T meaning,
Well of course is News/Trends that’s the eBook topic.
But N/T is also an abbreviation commonly used in the web with other meanings:
- “No Text“- because the eBook is much more about pics than text (I’m not a journalist and not so good in writing, best in scouting so my eBook couldn’t be about long texts).
- “Note Topic“- as it contains all of what I would like to say
- “No Thanks” – as this is what I said to the brands who asked me/ ITALIANBARK for collaborations during the design week, to focus 100% on this project and to give you my most honest and indipendent point of view. I can say that the eBook is 100% independent and non-sponsored (then, self-financed. crazy me).

As I already told you here, I was not alone in this project.
I have to thank Davide Buscaglia, who shared his amazing photos to illustrate this book, and Berry from Atelier Mave who created the cute Milan illustrations you will find inside the book. Together with them, the blog’s contributors Martina -who did some of the interviews to international designers you will find in the book- and Grace, that with her English was a great help in editing the whole book. (so happy I found you this day guys ! )

N/T è pensato per amanti del design e professionisti del settore interni e design. L’ho scritto per tutti quelli che a Milano ci sono stati, ma sono tornati insoddisfatti pensando che “c’erano troppe cose”; a chi a Milano non è riuscito ad andarci, e cerca un aggiornamento; ma soprattutto a chi non è interessato nello specifico alla MDW, ma vuole rimanere aggiornato sulle ultime novità e tendenze nel mondo del design, dell’arredo e dell’interior.
Dopo la settimana del design milanese, ho trascorso un’intera settimana letteralmente sepolta in casa, scorrendo migliaia di foto, scaricando centinaia di press kit, leggendo una quantità interminabile di email. Per non parlare di tutto il lavoro fatto prima della MDW di quest’anno. Il tutto per cercare di mettere insieme l’eBook che io avrei sempre voluto ricevere…e credo proprio di esserci riuscita ^_^

Se ti stai chiedendo cosa significa il titolo,
N/T non è solo News/Trends, ma anche un’abbreviazione usata nel web con vari significati :
- “No Text“- non si tratta di un eBook con lunghi testi (vi avviso!)
- “Note Topic“- perché contiene tutto ciò che avevo da dire sul tema
- “No Thanks” – perché è ciò che ho detto a tante richieste di sponsorizzazioni durante la Design Week (e direi anche prima e dopo), per dedicarmi al 100% a questo progetto e dare un punto di vista totalmente indipendente. L’eBook è quindi non-sponsored e auto finanziato.

Come vidicevo qui, non sono stata sola in questo progetto. Devo ringraziare Davide Buscaglia, le cui foto sono parte fondamentale di questo libro, e Berry di Atelier Mave che ha creato le illustrazioni di Milano che troverete all’interno. Insieme a loro, le contributors Martina – che ha condotto buona parte delle interviste a designer internazionali che troverete nel libro – e Grace, che con il suo inglese è stata di grande aiuto nell’editing.
