Happy to annunce today the ten talented winners of the #zuhausesein / #beingathome photo contest!
Launched by the Association of the German Furniture Industry (VDM) in collaboration with a group of international bloggers (including myself) and announced on August, the photo contest involved design lovers from around the world. There has been a total of 232 entries from 19 countries, each one giving a different and very personal reply to the question:
What does #beingathome mean to you?
As a member of the jury, I can tell you that it was so hard to choose the best photo for each category, as there were soo many beautiful entries. The winners will receive a piece of furniture from a German manufacturer and they will fly to Cologne next January for the imm cologne 2020 fair. The winning motif will also be on display in a photo exhibition at the VDM stand at imm cologne 2020 and published in a design book in 2020: see them in preview here!
