It ‘s been a long time since our last virtual trip in my beloved Japan, right?

And in this bakery design I’m showing you today there’s everything that I love about Japanese culture and design.

A minimal style and a cleanliness, of lines and of decor, that studio Snark has chosen for Style Bakery interiors, located in the Japanese city of Kiryu. I chose to share with you this bakery today for Thursdays Original Interiors because it is a very unusual space, compared to the idea of bakeries that I have in my imagination… Light grey , wood and tiles (in the same light grey, the logo one) , nothing else than these few materials for the interior, and nothing more is needed, as its simplicity is what makes this bakery concept so special.

The interior seems almost a showroom one, or maybe the office of a certain creative studio, more than a bakery. And I appreciate it 🙂

E’ da tanto che non facciamo un salto nel mio amato Giappone, vero?

E in questo panificio c’è tutto quello che mi piace della cultura e del design giapponese.

Lo stile minimale, l’ordine, e direi pure un grande senso di pulizia. Che studio Snark ha pensato per gli interni di Style Bakery, nella città giapponese di Kiryu: un panificio che ho scelto di mostrarvi oggi per Thursdays Original Interiors perchè è molto insolito rispetto all’idea di panificio che ho nella mia mente…grigio chiaro, legno e piastrelle (sempre nel medesimo grigio chiaro, quello del logo)…altro non c’è in questo interno, e direi che non serve, perchè è proprio questa semplicità a renderlo un concept così speciale.

Sembra quasi uno showroom, se non proprio un ufficio di un team creativo, questa Style Bakery. E mi piace…anche se forse solo il rigore e l’ordine tipico dei giapponesi possono mantenere un posto così al massimo delle sue potenzialità!
