Did you notice that there is a huge comeback of Persian rugs in interiors?
Probably you remember this rugs from your parents or grandparents houses. Well now they are back, as it usually happens with several decorating trends we see at present. This is because there is a huge trend towards Oriental design, together with a rising love for pattern decor. We already saw this in the last post, with this new stoneware collection discovered at Cersaie 2017 inspired by Persian rugs.
Persian carpets, born in Iran (formerly known as Persia), with their strong symmetrical patterns and colours, are the perfect decor element for adding a little pattern in the design, together with an Oriental twist. Their colours, which are usually warm and in the reds range, fit also perfectly the present colour taste which is going towards earthy and strong hues.
I collected some interior where Persian rugs make the difference: maybe you could also think about adding that old carpet from your grandma’s home in your house?
||| Other rugs that will never go out of style are Moroccan carpets (also known as Beni Ourain carpets). With their neutral pattern they fit in every decor style and – if handmade and authentic – they are a long term investment for your house.

Probabilmente come a me vi ricordano case di genitori o nonni. Bene, come spesso accade nelle tendenze, sono tornati ad essere attualissimi. Questo perché c’è una tendenza generale del design verso le ispirazioni Orientali, unitamente a un gusto comune verso tutto ciò che è pattern decorativo. I tappeti Persiani (chiamati così perché tipici dell’Iran) riassumono queste due tendenze e sono tornati sia come elemento decorativo che di ispirazione per nuovi prodotti, come abbiamo visto ad esempio nell’ultimo post con questa nuova collezione di rivestimenti ceramici che ho scoperto a Cersaie 2017, ispirata appunto ai tappeti Persiani.
I tappeti persiani, grazie al loro forte decoro simmetrico, sono l’elemento perfetto per aggiungere in casa un tocco di pattern decorativo; le loro tonalità, solitamente calde e tendenti al rosso, sono poi assolutamente attuali rispetto a quelli che sono gli ultimi trend in fatto di colore in casa.
Ho raccolto qualche interno in cui è stato aggiunto un tappeto di questo tipo: magari anche in casa vostra può stare bene quel tappeto trovato in casa dei nonni?
||| Altri tappeti che non andranno mai fuori moda sono i tappeti Marocchini, conosciuti anche come Beni Ourain. Con il loro pattern a tinte neutre si abbinano ad ogni stile di arredo e, se fatti a mano ed autentici, sono anch’essi un investimento a lungo termine per la casa
