Restyling my home and new home fragrances by Officina delle Essenze

In my place it was another amazing warm and sunny weekend and I could not resist doing some changes at home to bring some spring mood inside.

First I went to the florist nearby my home, I bought “some” beautiful new plants, with the idea of creating a brand new green corner in the living room (right there where there was the aquarium, that we have taken out because we are going to change flooring and do a number of other things. Hopefully in short time!).

I admit things got a little bit out of hand and I shopped a lot of plants , ok, but after the first panic moment I did some shifting here and there, and now here I am with a new green corner – and even my living looks brand-new ^ _ ^

Dalle mie parti è stato un weekend di sole stupendo e non potevo resistere dal fare un po’ di cambiamenti per fare entrare la primavera anche in casa.

Per prima cosa sono andata dal fiorista qui vicino e ho preso un po’ di belle piante nuove, con l’idea di creare un nuovo angolo verde nel living (si proprio dove c’era l’acquario, che abbiamo tolto perché dovremo cambiare pavimento e fare una serie di altre cose. Spero a breve!).

Mi sono fatta un po’ prendere la mano dal fiorista ammetto, ok ma dopo il panico iniziale ho fatto qualche spostamento e via, ora con un angolo verde nuovo anche il mio soggiorno sembra semi-nuovo ^_^ Venite?

✓ an old piece of furniture painted in white, I once used as a pouff

✓ some small samples of coloured glass

✓ an ikea white stool

✓ the Sac en Papier plus some branches

✓ two medium-big sized new plants, with terracotta vase

✓ three bulbs vases

✓ one home essence (by Officina delle Essenze -see below), over the grey flower by Iittala X Issey Miyake

✓ an old wooden frame painted in white, a big print of Van Gogh purchased at the Amsterdam museum, two canvas prints by my instagram feed (Canvaspop), a bothanical print (Post Collective)

✓ the Multipot table lamp in white by Rotaliana, design Donegani & Lauda

Per il mio nuovo angolo verde ho scelto:

✓ un vecchio mobile ridipinto che usavo come pouff con un cuscino sopra

✓ sei piccole piante succulenti, su vasetto bianco o di terracotta

✓ dei campioni di vetro colorato come sottovasi

✓ uno sgabello ikea bianco

✓ le Sac en Papier e qualche ramoscello

✓ due piante di dimensioni medio-grandi, su vaso di terracotta

✓ tre vasi di bulbi

✓ un’essenza per la casa (Officina delle Essenze -ve ne parlo sotto), con sotto il “fiore” Iittala X Issey Miyake in grigio

✓ una vecchia cornice ridipinta in bianco, una grande stampa di Van Gogh presa ad Amsterdam, due quadretti in tela con stampe dal mio feed instagram (Canvaspop), un quadretto a stampa botanica (Post Collective)

Home frangrances for springtime

If there’s one thing that must be in my living room, that’s natural green. There’s also another one for sure now: perfumes for the home. Since I started using them now I just can’t be without. Are you using one of them in your home?

For me it’s a little bit like for the body parfumes, I can’t stand those ones which are too strong or too sweet, I prefer fresh essences, almost masculine ones.

Last weeks I tried the home fragrances by Officina delle Essenze and I’m loving them. For the living I chose pomegranate, which is as light and fresh as I love. In the bathroom I choose the talc scented home fragrance, which gives a pleasant feeling of cleaness, and I also have a perfume gun to be used when I want, in orange and cinnamon scent (I love cinnamon).

I discovered later that these home fragances are made with the same care of the highest perfumery tradition. Each fragrance is the result of the work of a perfumer by dosing of many different ingredients, with a thousand tests in order to obtain the perfect essence. Profumare la casa per la primavera

Se c’è una cosa alla quale ormai non rinuncio mai in casa mia sono le piante. Ce n’è anche un’altra però: un’essenza profumata per la casa. Da quando ho iniziato ad utilizzare i profumi per ambienti in pratica non riesco a farne a meno. Voi li utilizzate?

Per me è un po’ come i profumi per il corpo, non mi piacciono quelli troppo forti né troppo dolci, preferisco essenze fresche e quasi maschili.

Per la casa ho provato da qualche settimana i profumi ambiente di Officina delle Essenze e devo dire che mi trovo benissimo. Per il soggiorno un’essenza al melograno, leggera e fresca come piace a me. In bagno ho scelto il diffusore per ambienti al talco, che da una bella sensazione di pulizia, mentre all’evenienza spruzzo un profumo ambienti in spray arancia e cannella (io adoro la cannella).

Ho scoperto poi che queste fragranze per la casa sono prodotte con la stessa cura della tradizione della più alta profumeria. Ogni fragranza è frutto del lavoro di un profumiere e del dosaggio di tanti diversi ingredienti, di mille prove al fine di ricavarne l’essenza perfetta.
