Hello! So how was your weekend? Here in Italy we actually had a long weekend so it’s a little bit like a Monday for this Tuesday.
I’m starting with a Scandinavian home tour to take a little break from all the Milan Design Week reports (but I still have a lot to show you!), we go virtually to Sweden to visit an interior full of inspiring details and ideas.
Love indeed how the white and neutral background was broken by some strong signature details.
One is that dark blue door in the living (remember here about teal and dark teal interior trend?), the other is the dark grey chosen for the bedroom headboard wall.

Come avete trascorso il weekend lungo? Oggi ripartiamo qui nel blog con un piccolo home tour: per spezzare un po’ dal tema Milano Design Week (anche se devo ancora dirvi che ho ancora tante cose da mostrarvi!) andiamo in una di quelle case svedesi piccole ma piene di dettagli interessanti come piacciono a me.
Il solito total white qui è spezzato da alcuni dettagli forti: la porta principale del living dipinte in blu scuro (se vi piace questa tonalità, guardate in questo post un bel po’ di idee a tema), la parete del letto in grigio scuro.

While maybe I found the bedroom a little bit cold for my taste (what do you think of it?)- even if I must say I love that clothing rack made with leather hangers – I prefer the details in the living room.
I have a weakness for floor to ceiling bookcases, in this case more than a bookcase there is a shelving composition that fills the wall between the living and the kitchen, a good idea to use that partition.
The Knoll butterfly chair in leather in front of that wall is a must (more inspirations on this theme may be fund in this post cognac and leather at home).
In the sitting corner, a beautiful Moroccan carpet by Beni Ourain (not possible to love them, I think), while the pendant light is by House Doctor.

Mentre devo ammettere che secondo me la camera è un po’ troppo fredda, mi piace molto come è organizzato il living.
Io ho un debole per le librerie passanti e anche se in questo caso si tratta più che altro di mensole, trovo sia un modo semplice ed efficace per arredare una parete di passaggio che altrimenti verrebbe di sicuro poco sfruttata.
Un must, la seduta Butterfly di Knoll in pelle (sul tema pelle in casa, date un’occhiata qui), così come il tappeto marocchino Beni Ourain (ora ditemi come fanno a non piacere questi tappeti).

A smart idea for the sitting room? Mixing a bench on one side of the table and some chairs on the other. The chairs are mixed as well: one Thonet No.14 bistrot chair and a one contemporary and one vintage Windsor chair. On the table, a huge industrial pendant light in black.
The kitchen is typically Scandi, with simple white cabinets and grid tiling (more inspirations on this on the post grid :: interior trend)

Interessante anche come è stata arredata la sala da pranzo, con una panca e delle sedie diverse mixate; quel lampadario enorme in stile industriale poi basta da sé a dare carattere a tutto lo spazio. Se poi volete vedere una cucina tipicamente scandinava, andate tra le immagini qui sotto: linee pulite, bianco e le ormai immancabili piastrelle quadrate a parete (sul tema pattern a griglia guardate un po’ qui)
Altri dettagli che vi sono piaciuti?
Se come me amate lo stile Scandinavo, ma ancora di più quando viene spezzato con dettagli insoliti, vi piaceranno di sicuro questi altri due home tour: qui una casa scandinava dallo stile molto particolare e qui un interno completamente quadrettato!
