One evening we had fun in trying to count how many teas I could have drunk in my whole life. Considering only last ten years…yes, they may be counted in a four digit number, without exaggerating. So do not be surprised if, when I saw this quote (that is also the shop sign of today’s project for Thursdays Original Interiors), I couldn’t resist the temptation and I’ve virtually visited the shop.
And I’ve discovered two beautiful concept stores selling just quality tea and – as its name says, Paper and Tea– stationery as well.
That’s to say, my ideal shop 😉
Paper and Tea already have two different stores, both in Berlin.
First one, that you see in these images by Ana Santl via Ingnant, is located in Charlottenburg- Berlin, and has been designed by product designer Fabian Von Ferrari, together with founder Jens de Gruyter. The interior style is minimalist, looking more similar to a museum interior than a shop one, really. Even less in common with a coffee bar, I’d say!
Last year, P&T has opened another store, in Berlin as well. And I’m quite sure I prefer this one…
The interior looks warmer than previous one, it always reminds of a museum interior but with a cozier look, thanks to wooden elements and warm painting hues. Those neon signs and the exposed pipes on ceiling, then, add a contemporary touch that juices up all the interior.
