*THURSDAYS ORIGINAL INTERIORS* A beautiful place for studying . . . 2Day Languages school by Masquespacio

I’ve discovered this interior while looking for inspirations for my blog post of Sundays Dipped&Died Interiors and I’ve immediately fallen in love with it!
Designed by Masquespacio, a design practice based in Valencia (Spain), the location is a language school based in Valencia…who wouldn’t like to study here?

I love everything in the design: the choice of colours (yellow and aqua is an unexpected but perfectly working match), the use of dip&dye on walls, as well as the sculptural lamps and the wooden furniture.
I appreciate also the mix of modern and old architecture, as an integration of Valencia historic value into the design: the neoclassical architecture has not been hidden by Masquespacio, but it’s emphasized by the white of the wall decoration and the light wooden flooring, in contrast with the coloured elements (like lamps, chairs, cushions). In fact, the role of colour is very important, as every classroom contains a different fading colour as if presenting the progress in language learning.

There are many other beautiful design details: look for example at the text wich indicate the classrooms, or at the sculptural ceiling over the hallway…
