Today I’m posting some images taken during my last trip in Paris of an original interior which is not new (in fact it was created in 2009!) but lasts as one of the best Concept Stores and ecletic shops in all Paris…in fact Merci has becomed well-known for its interior style with a very cozy atmosphere and for bringing in the best of famous or young designs, with a gorgeous mix of old, new and commissioned work.

*Some original features*
Merci is not a simple shop, in fact inside it you can find: a cafe with walls of books to browse as you eat, a cafeteria, fresh flowers, clothing and -of course!- lots of interiors accessories, furnishings and lighting.
Merci is located in a 1,500 square meters old wallpaper factory with a 10 meter high ceiling loaded with inspiration at every turn.

And, most important feature, Merci is the only store where 100% of the joint profits are donated through a foundation to associations that help women and children in Madagascar…

PS: All the neighbourhood where merci is located, Le Haute Marais, deserves a visit as this is (together with all the Marais) in my opinion the best place in all Paris
but this is another post story, please go to MyTravels page to learn more!
