*THURSDAYS ORIGINAL INTERIORS* Torafu Haunted Art Gallery for Kids in Tokyo

Today I want to share with you a really amazing interior!
The aim of the project was to attract a bigger number of young visitors into the Museum of Contemporary Art of Tokyo with a playful space dedicated to children in which they could also interact directly with some of the world’s most famous paintings, as a first way to be in contact with art, avoiding the boredom of typical art galleries.
…..

Torafu Architects
had a genial idea: they’ve created an Haunted House, in occasion of the summer exhibition for children entitled GHOSTS, UNDERPANTS and STARS, in which children can do all those things usually forbidden in a gallery, like running, touching, playing. And, most of all, having fun: in fact there are many tricks hidden into the space and in its wall arts, like a pair of hands merging from a Mona Lisa or an hidden passage leading to the interior space.

Wood, black and white are the simple materials that have been used, to highlight the art works, which have been transformed into surrealistic pieces…

…..
