Here we are with the second exhibit which I selected from the Dutch Design Week 2019 because of a particular interest in our trend forecasting.

Today we virtually visit Fluid Forces by ELLE Decoration NL, an  immersive exhibit aimed to represent the most relevant developments and trends in design, by telling about the newest shapes, materials and colors.

Fluid Forces

FLUID FORCES  was inspired by a new concept of Worklife that removes the boundaries between home and workspace. This immersive exhibition was divided into three areas called Concentrate, Co-create and Celebrate, and furnished with a selection of design classics together with new pieces by Dutch designers. Its aesthetics was inspired by the growing trend for a more feminine and softer design, with rooms flowing into one another rather than being disconnected. 

The exhibition was designed by Monique van der Reijden and the Trend Compass team in collaboration with editor-in-chief Evelien Rei and Tarkett.
