If you think white is boring, change your mind with this selection of beautiful total white interiors!
As much as I love colors, I have been always really fascinated by interiors in a total white palette. Far from being a boring color, in fact, white has thousands of shades and hues, that we can commonly define “off-whites“.
In color theory, a shade is a pure color mixed with black (or having a lower lightness). Strictly speaking, a “shade of white” would be a neutral grey. While, colors often considered “shades of white” actually vary in hue, and in chroma (also called saturation, or intensity). These include colors such as cream, eggshell, ivory, Navajo white, and vanilla.
Even if you may think that a neutral palette in off-whites could be a predicted choice, it could instead be a very strong and distinctive decor choice to define the style of an interior.
In this post, I collected six beautiful interiors with different styles and from different locations that prove how creative an off-white color scheme could be. Which one is your favorite? Share on Instagram by tagging @italianbark
