In the forth issue of TRENDBARK we are exploring more about the recession – and how this can influence the next trends.
There is a lot of talking in fact about a possible recession coming. We cannot read the future ( even the economists are finding it difficult to predict this ) but we can identify some patterns in the past that may repeat the future and inspire in case of a recession.
It seems obvious to be said – but in difficulties there may also be opportunities and actually in the past the best designs came out in recession times. Think for example about the rise of Minimalism.
Anyways – to get some good vibes, we are also going back to Paris – to be inspired instead by lots of decoration and colour.
