It is what I defined as “vintage romantic“: your ideal home is decorated around retro shapes, retro patterns, with vintage furniture.
You are a nostalgic one. Nostalgia goes together with a romantic attitude and your home is a cute balance of colours and pieces reminding something from your life. Your colour palette is played around pastels, retro colours such as ochre and indigos, balanced with neutrals. You gravitate towards retro shapes, retro patterns and you don’t mind some extra ornament, if this makes sense to you and to your own story. You are not so into fashion and love wearing vintage dresses, coats, mid-fit skirts.

PIB stands for Produit Intérieur Brut and it’s an online store entirely dedicated to vintage furniture.
The creator of this e-shop noticed there was a lack in the web about vintage stores with quality and with a consistent style. This is something you noticed for sure as well if you are a fan of this style right? By “vintage” at PIB they do not mean just “industrial vintage style“, but also some crossing interior styles such as Scandinavian retro and Bohemian vintage.

Insomma quello che io ho definito come “vintage romantic“: la tua casa ideale è ricca di arredi vintage, pattern di ispirazione retro, oggetti scovati nei mercatini dell’usato.
Sei un tipo nostalgico. La nostalgia è un sentimento che accompagna chi ha un carattere romantico e la tua casa riflette il tuo stile ma non solo, anche la tua vita. La tua palette colori è fatta di tonalità pastello, colori con un mood retro come l’ocra e l’indaco, bilanciati con tinte neutre. Tendi a preferire arredi dalle forme retrò, così come pattern di ispirazione vintage e non ti dispiace aggiungere elementi decorativi in casa, a patto che abbiano un senso rispetto alla tua storia e la tua vita. Non sei un tipo fanatico di moda, ami gli abiti vintage, non vedi l’ora di indossare cappotti e gonne.

I fondatori di PIB hanno notato che in giro c’era carenza di negozi dedicati esclusivamente a questo tipo di stile, che avessero una buona qualità e uno stile coerente. E sono sicura che è qualcosa che avrete notato anche voi, se amate questo stile di arredo. Con “vintage” da PIB non si intende per forza l'”industrial vintage style“, ma anche e soprattutto alcuni stili di arredo di ispirazione trasversale come ad esempio lo Scandinavian retro e il vintage Bohemian.
