I know, this blog does not talk about all decorating styles. If asked my ideal home would be like this one in the pic (and it’s starting to look very similar!!).
It is clear that I love Scandinavian and minimalist style, although I also like to range with eclectic interiors or other styles with a geographical specificity, for example Brazilian or Japanese interiors, and of course Italian interiors.
But working as an interior designer, often online and for foreign clients, I really realize that decorating is basically a matter of taste. I often face clients with different tastes and my job is to make the best of their own tastes in their home, for sure not to enforce mine.
I’d love to explore better what are your tastes in the home decor in next days.
Although some interior styles are really far from mine, I think that the real key for decorating well is to find your own taste and style. Choosing and matching furniture, accessories, colors, in the right way, matching also different styles together.
In short, THE KEY is to find your own taste and to work on that.

Lo ammetto, in questo blog non si parla di tutti gli stili di arredo.
La mia predilezione per lo stile Scandinavo e minimalista è evidente, anche se mi piace spaziare in interni dal gusto eclettico o in stili che possano avere una specificità geografica, come ad esempio interni brasiliani o giapponesi, e ovviamente interni italiani.
Occupandomi però di progettazione di interni, spesso anche online e per clienti esteri, mi rendo davvero conto di come invece l’arredare casa sia sostanzialmente una questione di gusti. Mi ritrovo spesso di fronte a clienti con gusti diversi dai miei e il mio lavoro è semplicemente (si fa per dire) quello di declinare nel modo possibile il loro gusto nella loro casa, non certo di imporre il mio.
A me piacerebbe esplorare meglio quali sono i vostri gusti in termini di arredo per la casa.
Anche se alcuni stili di arredo proprio non fanno per me, penso infatti che la vera chiave dell’arredare bene la casa sia quella di avere un proprio gusto e proprio stile. Saper scegliere ed abbinare arredi, accessori, colori; coem secondo passo, saper mixare anche stili diversi.
Insomma, si tratta di trovare il proprio gusto e lavorare su quello.
I veri drammi accadono proprio quando un proprio gusto non c’è. Ci torneremo presto, su questo tema 😉
The new comunication by Conforama is based on this idea of ” Home in all flavours“.
For those who did not know the brand:
Conforama is a French group specialized in home decoration. It has 313 stores, including 205 in France and 108 stores between Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Portugal, Luxembourg, Croatia and Serbia.
I bought at Conforama our white dinner table a few years ago and it is one of the few survivors I kept after the big restyling (I promise I will show you something soon. Time to finish some details and to come back from all September job trips!)
Based on this new approach, there will be also several events and Conforama openings in Italy.
First one will be this weekend in Turin so, if you are around the area, make sure to stop by!
Proprio sul concetto di “Casa per tutti i Gusti” si basa la nuova comunicazione di Conforama.
Per chi non lo conoscesse:
Conforama è un gruppo francese specializzato nell’arredamento e decorazione per la casa. Al suo attivo 313 negozi, di cui 205 in Francia e 108 negozi tra Italia, Spagna, Svizzera, Portogallo, Lussemburgo, Croazia e Serbia.
Io ad esempio ho acquistato proprio da Conforama il nostro tavolo da pranzo bianco, ancora qualche anno fa, ed è uno dei pochi superstiti che ho mantenuto nel nuovo assetto del nostro living ( prometto ve lo mostrerò presto. Tempo di riassestarmi da tutte queste trasferte e terminare i dettagli! )
Non solo una nuova comunicazione, ma anche una serie di eventi dedicati all’arredare la casa con gusto.
Questo fine settimana ad esempio apre un nuovissimo punto vendita Conforama, con ben 6000 metri quadri di arredo per la casa, in provincia di Torino. Oggi e domani sarà inoltre possibile partecipare al contest “500 ALL’ORA” che mette in palio ogni ora un buono del valore di 500,00 euro.
Io sono in partenza per Parigi, ma ve lo segnalo in caso siate in zona!
