SUMMER TOURS | Paola Navone in Greece

Let’s have together a short break today to look around in another inspiring summer home, this time in Greece. One of those destinations where I would be happy to visit again.

Oggi mi prendo una pausa per curiosare con voi in un’altra residenza per le vacanze, stavolta andando in Grecia. Una delle mete che mi affascinano sempre moltissimo.

Bene, mettete insieme le caratteristiche delle architetture cicladiche e lo stile di Paola Navone: il risultato, questa splendida residenza in riva al mare. Una villa progettata dall’architetto greco Yorgos Zaphiriou e arredata da Paola Navone con il suo inconfondibile stile tra l’eclettico e il minimale: diamo un’occhiata?

Just this first living room pic was enough for me to decide about featuring this house on the blog…the rest is even better. The interior is so light and bright: very few furniture, in natural materials such as recycled wood, and few home accessories, almost in white. Even the rugs are not in fabric but just drawings on the floor, which have been hand-drawn on the waxed concrete flooring. It’s such a brilliant idea in a sunny and hot place like this.

What about the total white bedroom? Ok, with that sea view perhaps even this amazing bedroom takes a second place!

A me bastava anche solo l’immagine del living per decidere di mostrarvi questa casa. Un interno progettato all’insegna della leggerezza: pochi arredi, in materiali naturali come ad esempio la tavola in assi di legno riciclato, ma anche complementi ridotti al minimo. Tanto che i tappeti sono semplicemente dei disegni sul pavimento, fatti a mano su pavimento in cemento cerato. In un ambiente come questo, così soleggato e caldo, la trovo davvero un’idea geniale.

Che dire poi della camera da letto in total white? Certo, con quella vista sul mare forse anche quella passa in secondo piano!
