ITALIAN INTERIORS | A brand new design hotel in Venezia

Let’s virtually travel today very close to my place to discover a new design hotel in Venezia.

Located in the tranquil Dorsoduro neighborhood, Il Palazzo Experimental is a brand new boutique hotel with a unique interior design. Designed by Experimental Group – well known for their cocktail and wine bars, bistros, beach clubs and hotels around the world – the boutique hotel blends traditional Venice style with contemporary Italian style.

Il Palazzo Experimental ’s has 32 rooms and suites, designed with clean lines and a refined selection of materials, colors and finishes. Hand glazed tiles, custom brass and chrome lighting, Breccia Capraia marble accents and sumptuous fabrics are matched with Venetian design signatures like marble terrazzo flooring, Marmorino walls and sombre carved woods.

The interior palette is soft yet powerful, with a beautiful combo of terracotta, sky blue, paleyellow, silvery grey and cream.

Designed by Cristina Celestino, the bar – called The Experimental Cocktail Club Venice – is like a love letter from the designer, who graduated here in Venice, to the city with a polyphony of marbles and antique mirrors, inspired by Carlo Scarpa.
