When talking with my friends who are refurnishing their homes and who are not into architect/design/or in similar industries, I realized that they really have no idea about iconic seatings and their history. Maybe they spot some chairs often on website and magazines, like them, but they don’t know which is the original one among many replicas out there. So this post is actually for them ^_^
I decided to put together this small guide about the coolest and most popular iconic chairs, those design accent chair that can change the whole style of a room and are a long-term investment.
They are not cheap, but as for a good designer bag, they will never loose their value. I choose three among the most popular interior trends at present and made three shop list with some really really beautiful chairs.

Quando parlo con i miei amici che si stanno arredando casa, amici che non siano del mio settore, mi rendo conto che spesso non hanno idea di alcune cose che per me davvero sono scontate. Tipo la differenza tra una seduta originale e la sua replica, perché spesso non ne conoscono né il nome né il designer. Questo mini post-guida è proprio per loro.
Ci sono infatti alcune sedute di design che sono delle vere e proprie icone: ciò significa che non passeranno mai di moda e che sono quindi un investimento a lungo termine per la casa. Disegnate negli anni Cinquanta e Sessanta, ma alcune anche ai giorni nostri. Molte di queste sedute sono state arci-copiate, riprodotte in mille modi e versioni, anche in tantissime repliche. A voi poi la scelta di comprare o meno un originale, ma l’importante è perlomeno esserne consapevoli.
Ho messo quindi insieme tre piccole guide per lo shopping con alcune tra le sedie di design più iconiche, molto di moda ad oggi, ma che soprattutto non passeranno di moda.
Di certo non si tratta di sedie economiche, ma si può dire di sicuro che come per una bella borsa originale, queste sedute non perderanno mai il loro valore (anzi probabilmente esso aumenterà con il tempo). Per dare un senso alla mia selezione ho scelto tre tendenze di home decor del momento e selezionato alcune sedute bellissime per ciascuna.
