We are all seeing very clearly how the linear economy model is not working anymore, and are we sure it’s only because of the virus? Ok I am not an economist at all, but I did not know that an alternative already exists and it is called circular economy. Also, what I know for sure, is that the decisions we make when designing a product, system, or service, will determine 80% of their environmental impact, and it is A LOT. That’s why we believe design (and, together with it – creativity) has really a key role in this transitional moment.
Last, I believe that the brands who will be able to embrace this change first, will also be the ones which will perform better in the post-pandemic times. As I told you, I am a really practical person and – at the end – is also about finding new ways to make our businesses work in a world which is totally changing and that we HAVE to respect.
