summer in italy Positano: an amazing villa design
The villa is located in a former monastery of the Eighteenth century, perched on the cliff. The interior develops over three floors, in a sumptuous and fluid interior space.
The style is eclectic with a strong Arab theme, as well the Arab tradition has a strong influence in the architecture and decor of this Italian region. The owner’s passion for ceramics becomes here the main decor motif and the concept for the interior design. In fact, his amazing collection of Vieri ancient ceramics becomes decoration and architecture: like a big decorative ribbon, the ceramic band transforms from ceiling cladding, to wall cladding, into table, then on bed platform.
Amazing.
