Maybe you have noticed that in this blog and the facebook page every year with the approach of summer the Pink Dog loves more talking about travel and outdoor than about interiors. We spend less time at home, generally at summer, and maybe leave home for a while. But what about our home when we go for holidays, perhaps for a nice and long period?
There are some simple tips to take in consideration while leaving safe home during vacations, to go away without anxiety and to avoid any disappointment once back. At least, to reduce them. Let’s see them together?

Magari lo avrete notato che in questo blog e nella pagina facebook ogni anno con l’avvicinarsi dell’estate si parla sempre più di viaggi e di esterni che di casa. Ma che ne resta di casa nostra quando ci allontaniamo, magari per un periodo bello lungo (beato chi può!) per le vacanze?
Ci sono alcuni semplici accorgimenti da adottare per andare via senza ansia ed evitare brutte sorprese al ritorno. Oddio, almeno, ridurre il rischio di trovarle. Li vediamo insieme?

do not shout from the rooftops you’re leaving
Yes ok, you cannot wait to tell everybody on socials that you will finally be out of here for three weeks and on a beautiful seaside, maybe. Perhaps this is not a really clever thing to be done, you know? To write something in social networks, maybe without any filter, is like shouting it out from the rooftops to strangers. I know, I do write on socials when I travel, but it’s different (maybe one day I’ll explain you why).
non gridare ai quattro venti che partite
Sì ok, non vedete l’ora di scrivere nei social e di dire a chiunque che ve ne starete al mare per ben tre settimane. Forse invece non è il caso, che dite? Scrivere un qualcosa nei social, magari senza alcun filtro, è come gridarlo ai quattro venti a perfetti sconosciuti. Si io quando parto per un viaggio, non per una vacanza, lo faccio: ma è diverso (magari un giorno vi spiego perché).

lights on?
leaving your home lights on everytime of the day is not somethign so brilliant to do I think and it’s also as a huge unnecessary power consumption. Much better program an automatic turn-off timer, do you agree?
luci accese?
Ecco lasciare le luci accese in casa sempre per far vedere che c’è qualcuno è un po’ un’idiozia diciamolo oltre che un gran consumo energetico inutile. Molto meglio programmare uno spegnimento automatico con timer, che dite?

The easiest signal that you are away from home for days is a full mailbox. Better to think in advance about this, maybe by asking a nearbor the courtesy of picking your mail up!
