An home for total white addicted with stylish details

Don’t know why I always run into these interiors without any additional info. Please somebody with more info about this amazing flat please?

I thought of an home tour in absolut total white as a good way to start this December, I know I’m very traditionalist on this but for me December=White (last year was the same, do you remember December recap here?)

In this home I’ve chosen today, total white is really a statement, together with many fashion details that makes this interior really look a stylish place.

Somehow more like a fashion showroom than a real home…are we sure that somebody is living here for real?

However I’m sharing this interior because there are many details I love in a few rooms, even there are also some things I do not love so much here:

Non lo so perché incappo sempre in queste case senza informazioni. Qualcuno mi dica qualcosa in più di questa casa pazzesca per piacere.

Tra l’altro un home tour in total white assoluto mi sembra un bel modo per cominciare dicembre, mese che io identifico sempre con il colore bianco – anzi con il non-colore per eccellenza (pure per lo scorso dicembre è stato cosi, ricordate qui?).

Nell’appartamento che vi mostro oggi il total white è davvero portato al suo eccesso, mixato a dettagli che richiamano al mondo della moda. Sembra una showroom di qualche stilista più che altro…siamo sicuri che ci vivano davvero qui dentro?

Comunque, qui ci stanno una serie di cose che amo molto (e che al di là della perfezione surreale di questo interno potrebbero diventare buoni spunti), e alcune che invece mi lasciano meno entusiasta, ve le elenco qui sotto dopo le prime immagini…

Things I heart:

the different gallery walls with clusters of fashion prints
2097 pendant by Flos (I’ve already selected in a moodboard here remember?), and the choice of a statement chandelier for the living room
round hanging mirrors: both in the classic black Adnet version, and in the white by Hay
the fireplace corner, and that lovely wall gallery with clipboards
the lightbox “dream on dreamer” , that’s enough to decorate a whole room
the total white table decoration (wandering where you can find that white pineapple lamp? check here)

Le cose che mi piacciono:

l’organizzazione di stampe in gallery wall con cluster di immagini tratte dal mondo della moda
il lampadario 2097 della Flos (l’avevo già scelto qui ricordate?), nonché la scelta di un chandelier di dimensioni importanti per la sala principale
gli specchi tondi appesi: sia nella versione in nero del classico specchio Adnet, appesa in sala da pranzo, sia nella versione bianca di Hay
l’angolo caminetto, e la composizione di stampe a parete con portablocchi a clip
la lightbox “dream on dreamer” che da sola arreda una parete
la composizione di oggetti in total white sul tavolo ( se vi siete chiesti da dove arriva quell’ananas bianca, guardate qui)

What I ~~don’t like~~ like less:

the kitchen in total white. without any kitchen cabinets…maybe there are models? living in here and they don’t use this kitchen a lot, right
no cushions on that couch. Please add some soft cushions, even in white!!
no rugs at all. And I’m quite sure this is the thing that makes me feel somewhow unconfortable with this house…even if it’s beautiful!

What are your feelings on this? (I’m talking to you, my minimalist friends 😉 )

Le cose che ~~non mi piacciono~~ mi piacciono di meno:

la cucina in total white. e totalmente priva di pensili…forse qui mangiano poco, ci abitano delle modelle vero?
la totale assenza di cuscini sul divano. Pure bianchi, ma metteteli vi prego!!
la totale assenza di tappeti. Forse è proprio questo che mi lascia perplessa di fronte a questo soggiorno. All’assenza di tende posso sorvolare, ma ai tappeti……

E voi che ne pensate? (parlo proprio a voi, minimalisti convinti 😉 )
