Dark is a trend at present, ranging from design to graphics, from interior to furniture. After years of total white, now dark colours have been rediscovered and appreciated again. The dark tones give depth and they allow to play with space and with different and new matches.
On one side, we enjoy several new stylings in very moody grays, blacks, blues, greens, on the other several new design and furniture collections in very dark palette.
We already saw here on the dark blue, with dark green here, with many home tours of Scandinavian interiors that were restyled with new greys and black props.

Dark è una tendenza trasversale, che spazia dal design alla grafica, dagli interni al prodotto. Dopo anni di predominio assoluto del total white e di ambientazioni in cui il bianco era protagonista, si riscopre il fascino dei colori scuri. Le tonalità scure donano profondità all’ambiente e permettono di giocare con lo spazio e con accostamenti sempre nuovi.
Da un lato con styling decisamente moody carichi di grigi e neri, dall’altro con nuove collezioni da parte delle aziende di arredo e design in palette decisamente scure.
L’abbiamo già visto con il blu scuro qui, con il verde scuro qui, con tanti home tour tra interni Scandinavi che si rinnovano oggi a colpi di grigio e nero.

Today, we go virtually back to Cersaie 2016: here as well dark was a strong trend, both in the tiling and in the bathroom design fields.
As already mentioned in our WEBLOGcersaie trendbook here: at Cersaie we found a whole range of colors and dark materials, with several new collections and variations of textures and materials in the dark trend.
Marazzi booth, in line with the latest interior trends, welcomed us with a large wall in total black: a very strong texture, in black mosaic, playing on the effects of light-dark and shadows given by different depths of the cladding tiles . Opposite, a full-scale moodboard that displayed the materials used in the styling.

Oggi invece torniamo virtualmente a Cersaie 2016 e anche qui dark si è rivelata una tendenza forte, che ha abbracciato sia il settore del rivestimento che dell’arredo bagno.
Ve ne abbiamo parlato anche nel nostro trendbook WEBLOGcersaie qui : anche a Cersaie, si riscopre tutta una gamma di colori e materiali scuri, con nuove collezioni che propongono il trend dark in moltissime varianti di texture e materiali.
Lo stand Marazzi, in linea con le tendenze più attuali, ci accoglie con una grande parete in total black: una texture forte, in mosaico nero, che gioca sull’effetto di chiaro-scuro e di ombre dato dalle diverse profondità delle tessere di rivestimento. Di fronte, una moodboard in scala reale che visualizza ed elenca i materiali utilizzati.

Mystone Lavagna is the new Marazzi collection in total black: the inspiration comes from the slate stone, known as the blackboard, that’s to say the darkest stone.
One color, black, in many different formats, for countless variations on the same theme. Mystone Lavagna is available in 3d mosaic (30×30) and 30×60 slats, but also a range of medium and large formats from 75×150 cm, 75×75 cm, 60×60 cm and 30×60 cm.
Mystone Ardesia is the other new collection by Marazzi for the fans of dark interiors, but not just for them.
In fact, the sedimentary rock with its unique texture is proposed in three different colour variations, white, ash and charcoal. And also in a number of different formats.

Mystone Lavagna è la nuova proposta Marazzi in total black: l’ispirazione arriva dalla pietra ardesia, meglio conosciuta appunto come lavagna, ovvero la pietra scura per eccellenza.
Un solo colore, il nero, ma tanti formati, per innumerevoli variazioni sul tema. Mystone Lavagna è proposta nella versione mosaico 3d 30×30 e a listello da 30×60, ma anche in lastre di diverse dimensioni da 75×150 cm, 75×75 cm, 60×60 cm e 30×60 cm.
Mystone Ardesia è l’altra novità di gres effetto pietra Marazzi per gli amanti delle tonalità scure, ma non solo.
Infatti, tre varianti di colore reinterpetano questa roccia sedimentaria dalla texture unica in tre proposte, bianco, cenere e antracite. Proposte in numerosi formati, tra cui c’è solo l’imbarazzo della scelta.

If you love dark atmospheres you can also go for other solutions.
I love for example Powder, the new concrete effect tile by Marazzi. In fact if you want to dare with a touch of dark, gray concrete is something I recommend, very trendy but also to be matched almost with everything. In the Powder collection concrete is declined in several decorative variables, if you are afraid concrete may be a cold solution here for sure you will find something for you.
How about for example the Deco “cement tiles” in hex format 21×18,2, in dusty colours?

Se amate le atmosfere dark potrebbero fare al caso vostro anche altre soluzioni.
A me piace moltissimo ad esempio Powder, il nuovo gres effetto cemento di Marazzi. Se volete infatti dare carattere osando con un tocco in tonalità scura, il grigio del cemento è una proposta che io adoro: è un materiale che si abbina praticamente a tutto, di grande tendenza, e ora con Powder il cemento si declina anche in tante altre variabili decorative, adatte anche a chi teme che colori scuri e cemento siano delle opzioni troppo fredde.
Che ne dite ad esempio delle “cementine” in formato esagonale Déco 21×18,2 dalla classica grafica sfumata e polverosa?

At Marazzi stand in Cersaie there were countless inspo to add a dark touch in interiors.
In an amazing stall, designed by Gianluca Rossi with styling by Alessandro Pasinelli, each setting was reproduced on large moodboard that listed all the materials used, to give a very strong visual inspiration and many ideas for matching materials. Le suggestioni presenti allo stand Marazzi di Cersaie per dare un tocco di dark negli interni erano innumerevoli.
Nel fantastico allestimento progettato dall’architetto Gianluca Rossi con styling di Alessandro Pasinelli ogni ambientazione era infatti riprodotta su grandi moodboard che elencavano i materiali utilizzati, in modo da dare un’ispirazione visiva molto forte e tante idee per come abbinare i diversi materiali. Non solo total black, ma nero e grigio utilizzati in tanti nuovi accostamenti per creare interessanti effetti materici, di chiaro scuro, e nuovi mood. > Ve ne parla meglio Meet Your Mood qui
