Yesterday, I was snooping through some hotels and b&b in Tuscany, for a weekend we are going to spend there in next few weeks, and I stumbled across this amazing home images. I thought it was a great way to start the week with them, with this colour injection from Tuscany.
Those images are not new, as this colourful Tuscany interior (a country villa located in Cetona, south of Tuscany) was sold a couple of years ago. The designer is the British Tricia Guild, founder of Designers Guild: if you are a colour addicted as I am, you just cannot remain indifferent to her unique and unconventional ecletic style, in which the color is the main protagonist of an interior decoration made of textures, fabrics, patterns, materials matches.

I have to say that I’m not a rustic style lover instead, and It’s quite hard for me to find country houses in Tuscany that meet my personal taste…but thanks to colour, these rooms attracted the Pink Dog’s attention. What do you think of them?

Ieri stavo curiosando tra un pò di alberghi e b&b in Toscana, per un weekend che vorremo organizzare nelle prossime settimane, e sono incappata un pò per caso in queste immagini, con cui vorrei iniziare la settimana.
In realtà non sono immagini nuove, tant’è vero che la casa in questione (una villa di campagna a Cetona, una località nel sud della Toscana in provincia di Siena) era stata messa in vendita ancora un paio d’anni fa. Ma le immagini sono troppo belle per non iniziare la settimana così, con una iniezione di colore e sognando per qualche minuto di trovarci proprio qui, tra le campagne della Toscana.
Oltre al fatto che questa villa di campagna è stata rimessa a nuovo da una delle mie interior designer preferite, la britannica Tricia Guild, fondatrice di Designers Guild: se come me amate il colore, non potete restare indifferenti al suo stile unico e anticonvenzionale, in cui il colore diventa il protagonista di una decorazione di interni fatta di texture, tessuti, pattern, materiali.
Devo dire che di mio non sono una grande amante dello stile rustico, e anzi faccio un pò difficoltà a trovare degli interni in Toscana che incontrino il mio gusto personale…ma proprio grazie al colore questi interni sono riusciti ad attirare l’attenzione del cagnetto rosa. Voi cosa ne pensate?
