Recently I’m quite obsessed with barn doors in interiors, especially in contemporary style interiors. I’ve shown you this first one already in my Random interior design inspirations post of October end, do you remember?
Here some images I’ve collected during these days. I especially found some examples where barn doors are used for bathrooms. Isn’t it a really nice idea?
I especially love the idea that is shown in the last image. It’s not a door but a wardrobe, that was built by putting up a false wall a coat’s-width from the real wall, then by inserting the reclaimed wooden doors..Reading the article from house and garden talking about it, it was not so easy to install this however.

Ho una specie di fissazione in questo periodo con le porte “da fienile” inserite in case in stile minimal e contemporaneo. Ne avevo postata una anche tra le mie ispirazioni random di interni di ottobre, ricordate?
Ecco alcune immagini che ho raccolto. La maggior parte si riferisce a stanze da bagno, tra l’altro.
Mi piace moltissimo anche l’idea dell’ ultima immagine: non si tratta di una vera e propria porta, bensì di un armadio-guardaroba. Esso è stato ricreato con una parete in cartongesso sulla quale sono state inserite delle porte recuperate da una…discarica. Leggendo l’articolo su house and garden pare che non sia stato comunque semplicissimo crearlo.
Ho trovato anche un tutorial proprio per installare una porta “da fienile” diy, se amate il fai da te e volete cimentarvi in questo weekend di pioggia.
